BOP Actors Agency represents emerging and established actors from across the Bay of Plenty region and beyond.

We work closely with casting directors, production companies, and industrial professionals to help our talent access professional screen opportunities.

Bex

Head Agent

Rebecca "Bex" is the Head Agent at BOP Actors Agency (BOPAA) and a passionate advocate for making the arts accessible to everyone. Coming from a world of organisation, systems, and getting things done, Bex thrives behind the scenes, keeping the wheels turning and ensuring everything is where it needs to be.

A firm believer in supporting actors at every stage of their journey, Bex is dedicated to helping create opportunities and pathways for local talent within the film and television industry. Known for her ability to organise just about anything, she brings structure, reliability, and a calm, practical approach to the agency.

When she's not managing the moving parts of BOPAA, you'll find her spending time with her family, enjoying a good true crime documentary, or finding new ways to support the creative community. Passionate, organised, and refreshingly no-nonsense, Bex is an integral part of the BOPAA team.

Gary

Systems & Operations

Gary is our systems and website guy, who also is handy around a camera, lights, sound, and the post production gear.

Gary has been with us since the beginning, and provides a wealth of expertise in IT Systems, Media, Education, and post production. He is current semi-retired, and still manages a variety of systems here and overseas. He has a Certificate in Adult Education, and in 2024 was awarded a Media Award by the Royal Aeronatical Society for his contribution to Aviation Media in New Zealand.
